SCI Foundation Fundraising Efforts Gross Close to $1,000,000 at 2015 Convention

The 2015 SCI Convention proved to be a profitable week for SCI Foundation. Gross proceeds from the events, sweepstakes and auctions exceeded $950,106. These funds will be used to fund mission-related programs and the group's First for Wildlife Endowment.

"Our Inaugural Beretta Conservation Leadership Award Gala and 3rd Annual SCI Foundation Sporting Clays Shoot kicked off this year's SCI Convention and were overwhelming success. We thank all of our sponsors, donors, volunteers, and participants for all they did to make it an outstanding year." Joseph Hosmer, SCI Foundation President.

Chuck Buck - SCI Foundation Supporter and Friend to All

When most of us think of a "hunting knife," images of the Buck Woodsman quickly come to mind. When "pocket knife" is mentioned, the Buck Stockman is my first thought, as it was my first knife, and I still carry one in my pocket to this day.

It would be easy to fill volumes on the impact of Buck Knives on the outdoor industry, but "what" makes these knives special is "who" makes these knives special. Buck Kinves is still a family -owned business, and for a generation (1979-1999), the man at the helm was Chuck Buck.

Krieghoff International Teams with SCI Foundation in Fundraiser Sporting Clays Shoot to Benefit Youth.

SCI Foundation hosted its third annual sporting clays shoot on February 3, 2015 at the Clark County Shooting Complex in Las Vegas, NV. 107 shooters showed up to shoot at the event. Proceeds from the shoot benefit SCI Foundation programs, including its continuing partnership with BSA.

Larry & Brenda Potterfield Win Prestigious 2015 Beretta Conservation Leadership Award.
